Presentation of the Region

With its pleasant life atmosphere and modern infrastructures, Raba-Salé-Zemmour-Zaer is the region of the Kingdom’s political capital and hosts all important national and international institutions as well as all diplomatic representations.

Rabat encloses a vast network of university institutions and higher education schools. The region is also endowed with a technological pole that paves the way for new perspectives in the field of industries and knowledge.

The region is located in the northwest of the Kingdom, on the Atlantic Ocean’s banks, and it consists of 3 prefectures and one province:

  • Prefecture of Rabat;
  • Prefecture of Salé;
  • Prefecture of Skhirate-Temara;
  • Province of Khemisset.

In addition, the region boasts a multiple-advantage geographical location:

  • 1h30 min from Mohammed V airport in Casablanca;
