Situation of the sector in Morocco
Featuring actual centers of excellence for production, services, maintenance and engineering, Morocco represents an excellent investment opportunity for companies operating in the Aeronautics and Space industry.
Experiencing a remarkable growth, since 2012, the sector has accumulated investments estimated at 2.7 Billion DH and the number of implantations are continuously rising. Morocco now has over 100 companies producing, in the 2011 fiscal year, a turnover of 5.2 Billion DH and employing over 7,500 highly skilled people.

Development potential of the sector
The Kingdom is among the countries where the Aeronautics and Space industry holds future prospects, with an annual growth of 25% and a growth potential estimated at around 4 Billion DH of additional GDP, which would result in the creation of approximately 15,000 new direct jobs by 2015.
Furthermore, Morocco is considered today as a coveted destination for aeronautics subcontracting and ranks as an efficient and competitive platform, as exemplified by the establishment of global references such as EADS, Boeing, Safran , The Piston, Daher, Creuzet / Indraero, Souriau, Ratter Figaec or even Bombardiers.
Opportunities for investors
In addition to its geographical position and the high qualification of its human resources, which represent a major asset for Morocco, the government committed itself in the Emergence Pact, to provide investors with a conducive framework for the achievement of their projects.
It is a pragmatic offer structured around four components:
- An conducive and attractive environment via a "Free Zone" status and installation allowances of up to 10% of the total investment.
- A financing offer from banks dedicated to the SME sector.
- A system of aid for operators in the training sector and the creation of the Institute of Aeronautics Trades.
- A diverse real estate offer, in accordance with the highest international standards in the form of Integrated Industrial Platforms (P2i) benefiting from the Free Zone status.
