The Renault-Nissan plant in Tangiers yesterday inaugurated its second production line to achieve a capacity of 340,000 vehicles per year, making it the largest automotive plant in Africa. The second line, which required an investment of 400 million Euros, will be dedicated to the production of the Dacia Sandero and Dacia SanderoStepway, two flagship models in the Dacia range. It is worth noting that about 1,400 people were recruited to meet the requirements determined for this new line, bringing the total workforce of the plant to 5,000 people. It should not be forgotten that the Renault-Nissan plant in Tangiers is a limited liability company owned at 52.4% by Renault Group and 47.6% by CDG.
