On Thursday, June 26, 2014 in Paris, MEDZ organized in partnership with the international firm IDC France, a conference debate on the theme "Nearshoring Morocco, growth driver for the business of IT."
This high-level meeting is the first edition of the cycle "ITO Meeting Professionals" that perpetuate MEDZ account with a pre-qualified target. The principle of the "One to few" is to bring together 20 to 30 makers already interested in the destination Morocco, in order to present them to:
- the advantages they may benefit from.
- Key success factors through testimonials and feedback from successful similar businesses already operating in MEDZ parks.
This first edition was a great success with the participation of thirty Directors General, Directors and Managers SI outsourcing TOP 100 French SSII.
The session was opened by Mr. Abderrafie Hanouf, CEO of MedZ Sourcing and Member of the Executive MEDZ, who exposed the sector balance sheet in Morocco as well as its outlook to 2020, before pleading for a promising Franco-Moroccan alliance that will create carrier opportunities and shared growth.
Mr. Sebastian Lamour , Senior Consultant at IDC France, has meanwhile presented the market situation of IT outsourcing (ITO) in France, the value of outsourcing to promote growth as well as future trends.
During the discussion panel co-hosted by Samir GUERRAOUI, Commercial Director Offshoring MEDZ and Olivier Coredo, Director of Conferences at IDC France, industry experts have analyzed the Moroccan offer and its competitive advantages. Two major names in the industry, CGI (800 employees on two sites: Casanearshore and Technopolis) and HP-CDG (1200 Technopolis employees) have had the opportunity to share their experiences in Morocco in particular through the quality of human resources, the level of delivery, customer satisfaction and continuity of supply.
